Pip of Art

Khainifa Khalil: Pip Of Art

I live in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. I always have had an interest in art since I was 14 years old. However, I never had the chance to study art. I learn and improve my art skills day by day through my own exploration of different styles of creating artwork. Having a married life and being a housewife limits my time to paint. I last painted in 2008.

A miracle happened when I was diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer in April 2019. That is when my journey in art truly found its way to shine. Art has become my soul and therapy ever since. The cancer made me an Artist. Alhamdulillah.

October 2019 marked the starting point of my life as an artist. My work focuses mainly on abstract art. Finger painting is something I do passionately. Scenery nature, patterns, and architecture have always been a continuous inspiration for me.

2020 is a year I explore minimalism in art. I have successfully created three minimalist art series titled “The Mountains Series“, “Minimal Scenery” and “Chinese Ink Series“. The acceptance from my audience is truly overwhelming. Abstract art is an endless journey, and I am just warming up to it!
